Searching for and Incident
- Press the play button on the front panel of the DVR in order to enter the playback section.

- Press the menu button on the front panel to access the searching options.

- Choose which method of searching best suits your application. Choose the calendar search if you are unsure of which method to use.

- Select the date and time by using the arrow and enter buttons on the front panel. Once you have selected the desired date and time, arrow down to the go button and press enter. Keep in mind that only the dates and times highlighted in blue indicate that there is recorded information.

- After clicking the Go button your video clip will appear on the monitor. You can review the clip by pressing the play, pause, forward and reverse buttons on the front panel. You can also forward and reverse using the jog shuttle.

Saving a Video Clip
- Once you have found the incident you are looking for make note of the start and stop times of the incident to be saved. Push the menu button and choose the clip copy option.

- You must now choose to what device you want to save your video by arrowing up to the top and pushing the enter button. Choose your device and push Enter again. Your choices are saving and burning to a CD with the built-in CD/RW or you can connect a USB device to the USB port located on the front of the DVR.

- Choose the date and time you want to save by using the arrow and Enter buttons. Once that is done you must then choose which camera or cameras you want to save video from.

- Now arrow down to the File Name section and press enter. You will have to enter a file name fro the video you are saving with the virtual keyboard. Navigate through the keyboard with the arrow and Enter buttons.

- When file is finished saving, arrow down and press Close to exit the Clip Copy section. Press the Enter button twice to exit out of the playback section and return to the live viewing screen.
