Upgrade the POST software on your PC based Capture DVR

1. From a high-speed Internet connected PC, go to the file server site and login with the supplied user name and password.
2. Download the appropriate POST software as recommended fro the DVR.
3. On the DVR, follow the steps below to update the DVR.
4. Get into the Windows Environment by turning off the Automatic Shutdown feature (accessed by double-clicking the gray space above the clock and typing idisman and then hitting enter, when the blue Capture splash screen appears).
5. Once the black screen appears (SmartShell showing in each corner), right-click and then got o System and click on Close.
6. Now that you are back at the Windows desktop, go to the taskbar and close the Upgrade Receiver program.
7. Go to Programs > IDR-Series > Uninstall IDR-Series and click the Uninstall option.
8. Once complete, you will need to load the new software from the CD or USB device by clicking on the setup.exe program
9. Simply click Next until you reach the IBank Setup window. Click Exit and then allow the DVR to go through it's driver update process.
10. Once this is complete, you will need to click the Restart option and let the DVR restart.
11. The DVR will restart and the software will run as usual. You will need to setup your recording, any PTZ's, motion, etc as though this were a new DVR.
